Today, we follow Christ from the triumphal entry to the cross, each step marked by his deep compassion—even for those who betrayed, mocked, accused, and harmed him. Though persecuted and beaten, Jesus, the Son of God, does not respond with disgrace but with a prayer of forgiveness for those who put him to death.
As we complete our Lenten journey, each of us invited through baptism to “let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus,” we enter this Holy Week with both grief and gratitude, trusting in God's redeeming love.
