Service Time & Directions

We're a friendly, inclusive congregation. We invite you to join us for worship, Bible study, or community service. Our worship begins at 9:30 am Sundays. Join us in person at 1550 Walton Blvd., Rochester Hills, or online. Come as you are. We're just happy to see you. Our greeters will meet you at the door.

What to Expect

WORSHIP STYLE

We follow a traditional worship format. We sing, listen to scripture, hear a reflection, celebrate Holy Communion, and pray for others. Our music is a mix of contemporary and traditional songs.

Bring the kids
We love to have babies and children at worship. No need to worry if they are wiggly or vocal! We have activity bags to keep them busy and invite them to the altar for a blessing during communion and a special Youth Message.

Communion
You’re welcome to share in Holy Communion. Those not yet communing are encouraged to come forward at the time of communion to receive a blessing.  

New Member Class

Throughout the year, we offer a class for folks considering joining Abiding Presence. The class provides an overview of Abiding Presence, the Lutheran tradition, and the wider church to which we are connected. Additional meetings are offered depending on the interest of the group. New members are received during a Sunday worship service and given some resources to help them settle into the congregation.
