Established in 1992 as an independent private preschool, Abiding Presence Preschool offers a variety of hands-on activities that introduce language, math, science, art, music, and creative movement through developmentally appropriate activities. Our curriculum is designed to meet the Michigan Department of Education standards for a quality preschool. 

We teach children, ages 2 ½ years through 5 years in our Young 3's through Young 5's classes, in a respectful, nurturing, Christian environment where families of all religious backgrounds are welcome. We encourage parents and teachers to work together toward the common goal of developing the child's fullest potential.

Summer S.T.E.A.M Camp

Week 1 June 11 SPACE EXPLORERS – Join friends in exploring outer space: planets, aliens, rocket ships, and more!

Week 2 June 18 SILLY SCIENTISTS – Get super silly with your scientist friends making wacky experiments and creating crazy concoctions!

Week 3 June 25 ALL ABOUT WINGS – Butterflies, Birds, and Bugs! Join other free flying friends to discover the wonders of critters with wings!

Week 4 July 9 UNDER THE SEA – Take a dive with us to discover the wonders of the deep. The ocean has fish, sharks, shells and more. We can’t wait to explore with you!

Week 5 July 16 LET IT GROW – Join other budding botanist buddies and see the wonder all wrapped up in seeds, leaves, flowers, and trees. Grow your brain!

Week 6 July 23 MOVIN’ & GROOVIN’ –Travel with friends on a speedy adventure as we create, race and launch all kinds of vehicles!

Week 7 July 30 JUNGLE JAM – Come on safari with other explorers as we discover the wonders of the jungle: tigers, monkeys, chameleons, and more!

Week 8 August 6 MAKIN’ WAVES – Cue the music! Cut the lights! Explore the wonders of waves in making music and color.

Registration

Links to registration forms for our various programs are listed below. Please select the form that corresponds to the class you are interested in, fill out the required information and submit. You will receive a confirmation email.

For 2024-25 school year classes, online registration for returning families opens at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. New family online registration opens at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Registration will be processed on a first come, first serve basis. Once you hit submit, your registration will receive a time stamp and registrations will be processed in the order to fill the available spots. Make sure you have selected your first and second choice for the desired class. If your first choice is not available, you will be placed on the wait list for your first choice and given your second choice. Please feel free to stop in to the Preschool office for assistance during regular school hours if you need assistance registering.  You will receive a confirmation e-mail.

For school year classes, a one-time non-refundable $75 registration fee per child is required at the time of registration. Please mail or drop off the registration fee within 7 days of registration to secure your spot. Currently enrolled children do not pay the $75 fee. In mid-February, you will receive an invoice for your deposit which will be the May tuition payment or, if you need to leave sooner, your child’s last month’s tuition. This deposit payment secures your child’s spot and is due April 15. 

A registration fee is not required for our other classes (Parent-Tot, summer programs, other special programs).
