On the Second Sunday of Easter, April 16th , we will observe Holy Hilarity Sunday. In all Christian faith traditions, the days after Easter Sunday were celebrated with joy and laughter. Pranks were played on clergy, picnics were held near bodies of water, children tried to spill water on each other to continue the celebration that Christ has risen from the dead. In raising Jesus from death, God has played a joke on the devil. So wear your most colorful clothes, bring your favorite joke to share, and revel in the joy of the Easter season!
