Caring for Creation – Earth Day Celebration

Join us on Sunday, April 27, as we celebrate Earth Day at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church! After the service, head to the Fellowship Hall for a special “Earth Treats” buffet and enjoy uplifting Earth Day music from folk musician Evie Boss.

Then roll up your sleeves, as we will be planting pollinator gardens. All friends and members are encouraged to bring a garden trowel or claw and gloves. We’ll also welcome Marilyn Trent, founder of Rochester Pollinators, who will speak about the importance of nurturing pollinators in our environment. Native plants and seeds will be available—some provided by a Thrivent Action Grant, others available for purchase to plant at church or take home to start your pollinator patch.
